I am an ecologist and former research diver. I love watching the way marine plants and animals interact and live together.
What drew you into the sport of Scuba Diving?
The meditative feeling of being underwater.
What is your favourite dive site and why?
Favourite dive location is Palau – spectacular and varied sites, beautiful people.
What is the most memorable dive you have done, and why?
USS President Coolidge Nameplate dive – my deepest dive at 65m and longest dive time at 2 hours including deco.
What do you love about being a Dive Instructor?
Introducing people to nature underwater, and creating a sense of awe and respect for it.
Where can you see the sport of Scuba Diving heading in the future?
I think Rebreathers will become increasingly popular with more user friendly models coming out.
